The Department of Educational Policy and Leadership is looking to hire two part-time adjunct instructors/lecturers. One will teach EDPL 8710: Multiple Paradigms in Educational Research (Fall 2025 – 8 week session). The other will teach EDPL 6997: Capstone in Educational Policy and Leadership (Spring 2026).
Course Descriptions: EDPL 8710: Multiple Paradigms serves students in our PHD program. EDPL 6997: Capstone serves students in our Student Affairs in Higher Education Program.
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities
Under the direction of the department Chair and Directors of Graduate Studies for these two programs, the instructor will perform the following duties:
- Plan and teach weekly classes
- Evaluate student learning using appropriate assessment methods and College of Education program evaluation system
- Maintain and submit accurate and current records concerning student accountability, attendance, and performance
- Maintain a student-oriented approach to education
- Provide opportunities for individual consultation and feedback for students in the course
- Provide frequent communication with students on their progress in the course
- Uphold professional and ethical standards and adhere to University policies and procedures

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Masters Degree preferred or substantial progress toward the terminal degree.
