Position Summary

The Department of Medicine, in collaboration with departments in the School of Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, is seeking a Hospice and Palliative Medicine physician to join our growing team. This is open rank fixed term for placement in any of the fourteen sub-specialty departments within the Department of Medicine, Department of Family Medicine, or Department of Emergency Medicine. Academic appointment will be made based on physician subspecialty in conjunction with the palliative care program. Candidates will be considered for positions within the clinical department aligned with their post graduate training. Clinical opportunities include inpatient and outpatient palliative care and inpatient hospice management. Faculty will have opportunities to excel and lead in medical education and research. Excellent starting salary commensurate with experience, generous benefits package.
