2024-2025Position Summary
The Department of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, at the State University of New York at Buffalo (UB), Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, is seeking 3 new faculty members with interest in General Gastroenterology, as qualified clinical educators for full-time positions based at ambulatory sites and major affiliated teaching hospitals. Qualified candidates will be appointed at the Clinical Assistant or Associate level.
Overall duties include:
Overall duties include:
- Serving as attending physician for inpatient and ambulatory services;
- Consultation and follow-up of patients;
- Teaching students;
- Training residents
- Supervision of fellows.
- Participation in clinical and/or translational research is encouraged.

Minimum Qualifications
- MD Degree or equivalent
- Must obtain a New York State Medical License prior to start date
- Must meet all credentialing requirements
- Eligible for Board Certification in Gastroenterology
- Compliance with University and New York State health requirements
