Be registered full-time for the respective semester – nine (9) semester credit hours during the fall semester, nine (9) semester credit hours during the spring semester, or three (3) semester credit hours during the summer session or be registered in the required number of semester credit hours to fulfill the only remaining requirements of the degree plan.

Scope of Job

● Assessing program effectiveness and
reconciling assessment data.
● Working on special projects with
student government and academic
departments to build Open Education
interest and opportunities campus-
wide.
● Updating and curating content for the
program’s website to showcase faculty
work and inform campus stakeholders.
● Assisting with outreach to faculty and
students to promote the library’s Open
Education initiatives to the broader
campus community.
● Gathering data from various University
systems for evaluation.

Discipline Specific Required Qualifications

● Currently enrolled and in good standing
in a graduate degree program at
UTRGV.
● Familiarity with word processing and
spreadsheet programs (e.g., Microsoft
Word, Excel).
● Strong communication skills (both oral
and in writing).
● Attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

● Some familiarity with web design, digital
publishing software, or graphic design.
