Job Summary

The Life Sciences Institute (LSI) at the University of Michigan (U-M) seeks an individual to provide high-level, confidential administrative support to faculty. As part of a collaborative team, you will report to the Assistant to the LSI Managing Director. We value excellent organizational and communication skills, and experience engaging with people at all levels (students, postdocs, technical staff, faculty) in the daily life of research labs.

Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment. Learn more about the work modes.

Additional Information

The LSI administrative staff benefit from a hybrid workplace. Per current LSI policy, you will be on-site at the LSI three (3) days per week, with remote work permitted two (2) days per week. This hybrid work allowance is based on program and business needs and may be modified by LSI policy with advance notice.

Background Screening
